Giuliana Allevato, Esq.
Giuliana Allevato is a distinguished attorney and a cornerstone of our criminal defense team at Kenneth Padowitz, P.A. She brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her work, supporting our clients with the comprehensive and tenacious representation they need in complex criminal matters.
Giuliana earned her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills, Michigan in 2020, graduating with a GPA of 3.33. Throughout her time in law school, Giuliana was recognized for her leadership skills and exemplary academic performance, receiving the Leadership Achievement Award and Distinguished Student Award. She served as the Senior Associate Editor of the Law Review and was elected President of the Criminal Law Society. Giuliana was also a Dean’s Fellow and a campus ambassador, and served as a teaching assistant in Personal and Professional Responsibility.
After graduating, Giuliana served as a contract attorney for the Florida Rural Legal Services, Inc., under the Victim of Crime Act (VOCA) grant. In this role, Giuliana provided advocacy for victims of domestic violence, successfully managing caseloads across three counties. She honed her skills in drafting and arguing court documents and became a fierce advocate during mediation proceedings.
Prior to this, Giuliana gained invaluable experience at the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office in Flint, Michigan, where she worked closely with Officers in Charge and Assistant Prosecutors in prosecuting homicide trials. Her work included drafting trial documents, conducting witness interviews, and representing the People at various felony hearings.
Giuliana has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to community service, volunteering for various organizations and events. She served as Program Moderator and Speaker for Chasing Hope: An Opioid Awareness Program, and volunteered with the Michigan Abolitionist Project and Michigan Women in the Law Award Ceremony, among others.
She is affiliated with various committees and divisions of the Florida Bar, including the Family Law Committee, Domestic Violence Committee, Young Lawyers Division, Trial Lawyers Section, Family Law Section, and Criminal Law Section.
